I have a drive showing on My Computer that doesn't exist - it was a driveon
a dual-boot system which has been changed. How do I remove this Drive
Icon
from My Computer? (It's the only place this icon shows.....)
XP Pro SP2 with all updates.
Thanks
Run regedit.exe and navigate to HKLM\SYSTEM\MountedDevices.
Now delete the non-existing drive and reboot the machine.
Unfortunately, I can't identify the drive in that Registry key. My Computer
shows it as drive W: but there's no drive W: showing in that key!
How do I identify it?
.
