ISO files

I downloaded Windows Vista Beta 2 and it came in an ISO file.
Instructions were to burn it to a DVD. I open the file with winRAR and
all that can be seen is a text file that explains this (This disc
contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system
that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification.). This is
a 3+ gig file. I followed the instructions and it made the DVD. That
made a bootable disc with all the files that are needed to boot up and
set up Vista. It also has autorun to start the DVD from within Windows
XP. It did all the transfer of the files automatically and they all
appeared on the disc which did not show up in the ISO file. It was
pretty cool. The problem that I am having is that I try to burn the ISO

file again to a DVD and it just burns the ISO filed and no files are
visible on the DVD. It won't autorun and it won't boot from the DVD. It

is just like the ISO file that I downloaded. What am I missing in the
burn process. The reason that I am trying to re burn it is because when

I boot from the DVD it gets to a point where it says that the NTLDR
file is missing. HELP!!!!!!!
