use norton antivirus and it will be expired soon.I read about the free
version of bitdefender and they say it's good and easy to use.So i would like
you to recommend the best available free antiviruses that i can use. Thanks
for your help.

Irrespective of what you choose, make sure you completely and cleanly
uninstall all traces of NAV.
After you've done the stanadrd uninstall, AND IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY
OTHER NORTON/SYMANTEC PRODUCTS, make sure you also uninstall the live
update option (not automatically done with the virus uninstall) and
there will be another one in the Add/REmove Software but I can't think
what it is.
Then go in and manually remove the Norton/Symantec directories from
Program Files and Program Files/Common directories.
It's a very nasty piece of software and leaves many many trails behind
after unistall.
