ping, tracert etc....

I have one computer. XP Pro SP1.
when I try to run PING, or tracert, it tells me that it is an unrecognized
item.
to get it to work, I have to go c:\windows\system32

Like I said, this is only on one machine.

Also, I can not get gotomypc to communicate with thier server. It tells me
it can connect to teh Internet, yet, I can browse teh web all day long.

ANy ideas on that one as well???
