Re: XP Shutdown Error

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Every so often - like once in 15-20 shutdowns, I get this error window at shutdown, it pops up and disappears so fast that I cannot see what it says...

Anyone have any ideas how I can troubleshoot this annoyance?

I've looked for log files in Windows folders but cannot pin anything down...

Thanks, Sam

Have you looked in Control Panel > Administrative tools > Event Viewer > Applications (and also system) for event logs with errors or warnings. If an error is found there, sometimes there are suggestions for further debuggging. -=Art=- drartieatattd0tnet
