Re: Error 1706 when trying to run Word 2000

I use Office 2000 and don't get the dreaded 1706 error pop up... so
something is wrong, the question is what...?

You should not have to keep clearing the pop-up everytime you want to
use Office 2000, mind you I don't allow automatic updates.
