Hi
Does anybody know how I can stop Google or other search engines displaying
the last search I made. This was a problem for me recently when I was
looking for a present for my Husband and was searching for theatre tickets.
When he wanted to search for something that began with T, my search string
showed in the window screen. Can I stop this happenning please?
Thank you.

Assuming IE, clear the History
Open IE -> Tools -> InternetOptions -> General tab -> Clear History

You can be evn more ruthless and download a freeware program like
ccleaner to rid of all other temp files. Doesn't delete anything
dangerous, but it is pretty ruthless (you may have to retype in
passwords, unless you tweak the settings - but it does a pretty good
cleanout of the type of things you don't want others to see)
