I have a windows xp pro computer at work and I need to get the fax to work
and I have had no luck locating the "fxscount.h" on the disk that came with
the computer and says that it has xp pro sp2 on it. Can anyone help me get
this things working?

The file is expanded from fxscount.h_ and needs to be 'expanded' and copied to c:\windows\system32
You may find it either in your 'i386' folder on your disk or perhaps in C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache on your hard drive

To expand a file manually, you have to open up a command prompt in that folder and type

expand fxscount.h_ fxscount.h
Then you copy it to the system32 directory.

Do the same with the other files it prompts for, copying them to the system32 directory, with the exception of

fxsext.ecf (expanded from fxsext.ec_) which goes in c:\windows\addins

and the *.cov files which go in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\MSFAX\Common Coverpages

When all these files are in position the installation should proceed smoothly.
