I recently had a hard drive crash, I have a good back up so data is
not a
problem. The issue is I bought a new hard drive exactly like my
old one,
when I tried to load XP i got a message that some files were
missing. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me load the
software?
Problems installing an operating system such as yours are usually caused
by:
1. Bad cd - could be a bad burn or scratched/dirty cd.
2. Bad cd drive
3. Bad RAM
4. Bad hard drive.
Here are hardware troubleshooting steps:

Testing hardware failures often involves swapping out suspected parts
with known-good parts. If you can't do the testing yourself and/or are
uncomfortable opening your computer, take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigStoreUSA).
