I recently had a hard drive crash, I have a good back up so data is not a problem. The issue is I bought a new hard drive exactly like my old one, when I tried to load XP i got a message that some files were missing. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me load the software?

From what source is Windows XP being reloaded...an image
file of the original HD? A true backup from tape? Or just
a copy of the Windows folder? Or the Windows XP installation
cdrom?
