Looking at more down time, than up (7 days), I am back up now, if can get
what the password might be, REALLY NEED IT.
Details: re-installing system, downloading XP home SP2, kept crashing:
missing / corrupt file: WINDOWS\system32\pci.sys
to see if more minor?: "R"estore would have helped.
ELSE: would I make a procedure for installing ADMIN account, before
downloading SP2, with my own LOGON / PASSWORD
(Seems to me that was true to work, initially: my logon / password worked
1st time).
OR !!??:) Do I need that password to set up a ADMIN ACCOUNT, to start
with:))))
Having regard to all thge other posts, remember that a blank (null)
password can be, in fact, a password ... if you get what I mean.
