I was finally able to get Systemworks installed and the secret seemed to be
to have no internet connection until I needed to get the latest virus
updates. After all this I noticed that I had only 290 days left of the 1
year subscription. I purchased and installed last Friday. I called Symantec
and they checked the S/N and found that the software had already been
installed 3 times before me. It was on 3/4/2006, 3/20/2006, and 4/24/2006.
The box I purchased was all sealed up and looked fresh.

I'm trying to install Symantec's SystemWorks 2006. At some point the
install becomes unresponsive and the install does not complete. I've
talked to Symantec Technical help and they have a couple small apps to
clean the registry but it still doesn't help. Any ideas out there to get
this installed. One thing that happens is that I seem to lose the internet
connection for this PC during the install.
