Seamus,
I resent them inside a zip file. There should be one .txt file and the one
..cmd file. Drag them out of the zip file and click the .cmd file. Sorry
about that.

Seamus,
I used a utility and a few other instructions to completely get rid of
Microsoft One Care Live. This was a few months ago and I can't seem to
find
the utility's link any more. I still have the utility on my computer.
Any
ideas on how I should get you this utility short of sending an
attachment to
this newsgroup.
Below are the full instructions. I can send you the utility to another
e-mail address if you'd like because I'm not sure about 'attachment'
etiquette on this newsgroup. Let me know the best way to get you the
utility.
Step 1
* Run the 'Microsoft OneCare Live Cleanup' utility
* Reboot if asked
Step 2
* open Regedit
* navigate to:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\AntivirusShlExt
* inside folder 'AntivirusShlExt', double click 'Default'
* delete any data shown ({BE79B9C8-9791-41d3-9267-C4123AC0AEAE})
* navigate to:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\AntivirusShlExt
* inside folder 'AntivirusShlExt', double click 'Default'
* delete any data shown ({BE79B9C8-9791-41d3-9267-C4123AC0AEAE})
* click OK & exit Regedit
Step 3
* open the 'Group Policy' Management console (gpedit.msc)
* expand (+) 'Computer Configuration'
* expand (+) 'Administrative Templates' > Network > Network Connections
* Select 'Standard Profile'
* Double-click 'Windows Firewall: Protect all Network Connections'
* Select 'Enabled', click OK
* Exit & Restart computer

Needed to reinstall Panda Internet Security suite as it was not
updating.
Uninstalled the programme and then tried to reinstall.Message "cannot
install
as there is a conflict withanother security programme - Microsoft One
Care
Live. Please uninstall this programme first." I did so but the Panda
suite
still gives the same message and will not install - it says that One
Care
Live is still there? I have rebooted several times and used several
utilities -reg. cleaners etc. but the problem persists.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks,
Seamus Halford.
