Thanks for the input but I can assure it has nothing to do with viruses.
These balloons are informative and set in place by XP. They are also a
b..... nuisance.

I once knew how to eliminate the annoying balloons that pop up all
over the place just after booting and then during the day as one
works. However, I have forgotten. Can anyone help, please?
