Windows Genuine Advantage Notification (KB905474) can be hidden, but

Important
You've hidden important updates You've asked us not to
show you one or more high-priority updates but your computer might
be at risk until they are installed. Restore them now

Don't you believe this nonsense, as nothing can be further from the
truth!

I find it interesting that according to this web site, XP Pro. has 28
unpatched vulnerabilities. It makes me wonder why Microsoft says XP
Pro. is so secure.

It is all in the eye of the beholder. Having just 28 unpatched
vulnerabilities could be very small, proportionally, when one
considers all of the lines of code in Windows XP, each of which
can result in at least one or more vulnerabilities. IOW, when
there is a target looming on the horizon, it is open to potshots
from all comers, deservedly or not. Sort of makes one wonder just
how lucky one might be whilst standing on a street corner in the
center of Baghdad, Kabul or even Los Angeles.

LOL! What BS! 28 known upatched vulnerabilities is an insane amount!
With that many KNOWN holes, we are talking about a sieve!
