Re: activation error

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Thank you for your information seth. I've looked into this issue and
unfortuantly, although i have encountered a number of users with your issue,
i cannot find a solution. This seems to be a rather unusual error that
affects certain builds. How did you install the Operating System? Was it via
an Answer File or manual setup? Which user accounts do the errors appear in;
Administrator? Power User?

Have you updated your software via Microsoft Update? Do you have any issues
regarding Microsoft Update and/or downloading updates requiring Windows
Genuine Advantage?

no changes have been made for some time
error only appeared on 5/5 and 4/16 and no user interaction required and
noWPA balloon in the taskbar
just an error in the application log; doesn't make much sense

Greetings Seth,

Could you inform us of the builds you currently deploy on your Network and
any recent changes you may have made to your system during this time, be
it
an application installation, or any other issues you may think might be
causing this. When do these errors occur within the Event Viewer? Does it
require any actions on your behalf? Does Windows Product Activation
balloon
appear in the taskbar?

Please give us as much detail as possible, and we can further aid your
issue.
