want to cancel domain access

Is there a way to cancel access to a domain ?

This is a used computer with XP Pro and it was accessing a domain. Now, as a
stand alone computer, I would like to set up a home lan but when I start the
home/office network wizard, I get an error message that as I'm on a domain,
I can't modify network settings.

Any idea?
