esentutl errors

My wife complained that recently she was no longer able to print.
The printer is hooked up to my machine running XP Pro and shared.
I checked my event log and noticed I was getting errors saying password
mismatch. I figured, OK, simple security problem. I haven't messed at
all with security and I have the printer shared to EVERYONE.

Just to be safe I went to check my security policies, but
when I started the local security policy manager, I got the
following:

The Group Policy security settings that apply to this machine could not
be determined. The error returned when trying to retreive these setting from
the local security policy database was: The parameter is incorrect.

I googled this and found that there was likely a problem with my
security database and to run the following command:
esentutl /r edb

Below are the results. I'm not sure if this is related to my printing
problem, but it still appears to be a problem that I should fix.

C:\WINDOWS\security>esentutl /r edb

le, the file is locked or in use) after 20.78 seconds.

Any ideas on what's going on? Thanks!
