Not as such, not really, but some of the games that HP/Compaq preinstall do require you to download and run adware. Of course, these games can be removed. All of the major OEMs bundle several applications, usually trial versions, with their products; I think they do this on a fee basis to help defray their costs for offering the cheap computers that most consumers want.
