Re: Files and setiings transfer

It sounds like you misunderstand what FAST does. FAST will transfer the
files and settings from one user on a computer to one user on another
computer, It doesn't create new accounts. You have to run FAST for each
account on the old computer. Save each one in a different folder on the USB
drive. On the new computer create the accounts you want to import into or
you can import into an existing account. You must logon to the account you
want to import into, then run FAST and import from the appropriate folder on
the USB drive. Repeat this procedure for each account.

I am trying to copy the files and setting of our office machine onto

I have run FAST on both machines as Old computer and saved contents on
a large removable USB hard Drive..

I ran FAST on the new laptop with the data i wanted to access.....

Does it overwrite existing used settings ( no)

Some things have been added ( desktop and some directories) but how
do you access the new users...

XP books i have dont mention anything after the FAST run neither does
Fast it just does its thing?
