Hi,
Yep, TV's never show text/fonts very well. As to sound, I would imagine
you'd need to see if your card supports transfering audio out.

Rick, Thanks, but I have worked it out via:
right click desktop - NVIDEO display - TV
That opens the GForce Go 6800 property boxes
On left box click nview display settings
On right box change nview display drop-down from dual to single display
On current display drop-down select TV
Apply
OK
That has opened a proper full screen full view onto the widescreen TV.
Videos & games look very good, but wallpaper, e-mail & internet
applications, particularly text are not too sharp.
Also, cannot find the fix to get sound to TV - only off the laptop.
Any further ideas?
Thanks
Sevensprint.

Hi,
Just a thought, but check the advanced display settings to see that the
TV
is mirroring the laptop, and not just an extension of it.

I am connectiong Amilo laptop to Sony widescreen tv using s-video. I
have a
good resolution colour image on the tv of the wallpaper, but when I
click
on
anything using the laptop screen (i.e. open internet explorer), the tv
image
stays unchanged on wallpaper, even though the laptop screen displays my
home
internet page?
I cannot see any icons on the tv image. I have tried changing the
colour &
resolution settings in display, but still cannot see the whole image on
the
tv, even though the image is good & clear in colour.
Laptop running XP, 4 months from new.
