Re: System restore - system checkpoints

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hi Spikey,

Look for the script (XPSystemRestorePointFrequency.vbs) on the following
page to change the restore point frequency.
System Restore Scripts & Utilities:
http://bertk.mvps.org/html/srscripts.html

Before changing this sitting, take a look at this page. Often times it's
best to reduce the amount of disk space SR uses to hold restore points
rather than changing the frequency at which they are created.
Tips on keeping System Restore healthy, and adjusting disk space usage:

If you have any additional questions, feel free to post them here.
