Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

So once you've posted something you can't delete it even with a proper
newsreader?

Actually, if you have a proper newsreader, you can send a cancel chasing
after it, but they don't work so well anymore.

If you don't want to be archived by google, you'll have to go to google and
nuke your post, but first you'll have to register using the same user id
(email address) that you used to make the original post.

And while you're there, you might want to google for "usenet" and
"netiquette." Here's a start, picked at random. Sorta.

and

It will give you a feel for the medium.

What happened to you happens all too frequently today: you reached usenet by
clicking a link on a webpage, and because the link said it was "help," you
expected help. There is help here--and a wealth of information if you make
the effort to use it--but the modern day expectation of instant
gratification does not work on usenet, and if that's what you want, you're
best off heading to www.microsoft.com, fishing out your credit card and
clicking on the support link.

I wish you the best of luck in finding what it is that you're looking for.

P.S. This is my first post to this group, and it's not the post I would've
chosen to make, but this thread was just killing me.
