Yes, once its there, its there.
Please don't put words in my mouth .I never said, I didn't care about
helping others. I said(paraphrase) that I won't loose any sleep if you
decide you don't like how I help you.
Obviously I enjoy helping others with technical issues. Maybe you need to go
find out what an MCT is.

So once you've posted something you can't delete it even with a proper
newsreader? I make a mistake earlier and it posted before I had finished.
It
must be annoying to have these mistakes etc hear for all eternity.
I think I have a more alturistic nature than you. If you don't care why do
you bother?

I''ll help if I can!

You seem to be confused.
Let me see if I can assist you.
This forum is for technical questions, advice, and the occasional
sarcastic
remark.
You seem to be under the impression that it was setup for people to be
nice
to you and listen to your pointless diatribes.

If you say something I think is stupid, I will tell you it is stupid. If
you
do something I think is stupid, I will tell you it is stupid.
I am not concerned with sparing your feelings or making your day.
However, I happen to enjoy solving problems. I also enjoy helping others.
I
am not a mercenary, but neither am I an altruist. I am just a
regular(albeit
, really smart :p ) guy.
But make no mistake.
Your happiness, ultimately, does not affect mine.
Also realize, that these groups are a matter of public record.
Your silly whining is now here to be saved for posterity.
Or at least ten years. Probably more. I don't have an exact number on
that.
I know I search old newsgroup postings as a matter of course before
interviewing people and find stuff from up to six years ago regularly.
My final little bit of blathering is to remind you that anything I or
anyone
else says is just their opinion. You can let it effect you as much or as
little as you decide.

Perhaps genuine and helpful users would like to make themselves know to
me
and then I wouldn't have to waste my time reading replies to my
requests
for
help from computer snobs and people with superiority complexes taking
the
piss.
How sad that instead of doing something interesting they are spending
their
time on newsgroups been sarcastic and not helpful at all.
Thank you.

Using this newsgroup is making me worse with computers because the more
I
use it, the less I understand
.
