Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hello, the answer is yes, I wish to completely restore the system to
the original factory default with the original recovery dvd, as I am
the original owner, but like I said when I do that, there are registry
tweaks and other settings that are still present even when the system
is wiped clean. I don't have a problem with reinstalling any extra
programs and losing everything, I just want to get it done.
Thanks

This is not possible. You are doing something wrong. Many restore
programs require you to go into Advanced settings (or the like) to do a
complete factory restore. The default is usually to *not* do this which
would produce the results you are getting. Refer to your manual or look
on Toshiba's tech support site for how to completely restore your
computer to factory condition.
