at-sign in a password & screensaver

Hi,

I have this situation where I have reset my password (company policies)
to a new one that includes an @ (at-sign) i.e.: 'catWom@n'.

Login to Win XP-SP1 after boot is no problem.
On the same machine, after the screensaver goes off (protected with
password) and I return to my keyboard, the new password is not
accepted.

The only workaround I have is to use another user logon (this will do a
log off) to get back to the Windows sign-on window because the dialog
box asking for user/password from the screensaver does not accept my
new password.

thx for your help.

.
