Cannot access by others

Hi,
I have 2 WinXP machine cannnot ping by other client machine on the same
network.
also cannot access the share folders as well. I have disabled the firewall
of these 2 machines but it still cannot be done. This does not happend to
other machine in the network. Anyone have any idea what can go wrong for
this case.
Request time out when I ping the machine. but from the problem machine it
can ping and access other machine with no problem.
