10gig computer is so slow with XP. Want to change to win98 but have no A

The
files were set to FAT32 and boot from CD. ROM was selected when Xp was
installed.

Boot from your XP CD and you will be given the opportunity to
delete the partition[s] during setup, you don't have to format at
this point as the win98 setup can do it .
