It sounds like you are using Internet Explorer. What I would advise is
that you run a spyware and virus scan on your computer. There are free
ones out there if you do not have one. If it comes up with something
that might be your problem. If it is clean, then try a different
browser (For Windows update that would mean a manual download). Some
good free browser are Netscape and Firefox. If all that still does not
work, then it may have something to do with the fact that you are using
a different hard drive. Try out my ideas and tell me what happend. Good
