Hi, I'm not sure if this the appropriate discussion group for this question...
The problem is that as I'm typing text the text moves to the right beyond the insertion point (even though the insertion point has remained in the same location). So that instead of entering characters to the right of existing text, the insertion point is several characters to the left of the end of the text I am entering. This means that I first have to delete a bunch of characters and then move the insertion point to the end before continuing on.
On other occasions I TAB to indent the line and the insertion point first moves to the right of the TAB. Then the insertion point moves back as though there had never been a TAB!
This only seems to happen when entering a new line of text. That is, I press ENTER and then begin entering on a new line. Then several key strokes later the insertion point moves back.
How do I stop this?!
Any ideas or suggestions appreciated :-)
Thanks, Jonathan
For what program does this happen? Depending on which one you might want to post your question to a newsgroup specific to that program. Here is a list of MS public newsgroups: http://aumha.org/nntp.htm
