Re: No IE in Add/Remove programs

Thanks but apart from the occasional error, in XP should IE be listed in
Add/Remove or just in the Windows Components section?

Hi,

It's not likely IE, but rather something that has integrated itself into
it. Try the steps outlined here:

IE6
Recently I have been getting an occasional error message when browsing.
"0x1001cd11" referenced memory at "0x1001cd11". The memory could not be
"read."
I seem to remember that there is a repair option for IE.

I thought that if I clicked IE in Add/Remove programs it would give me
such an option.
However, there is no listing for IE in Add/Remove.
I have the IE icon on my desktop, in Quick Launch and in the Start Menu
and have no trouble launching it to browse.
Am I getting confused with my old ME o/s or should I have IE listed.
