RE: svc host errors!

I am having the same sort of problem. It all started (or so it seems) when I
was setting up and configuring a wireless network at home. I get the
following "svchost.exe - Application Error":
"The instruction '0x00a996bc' referenced memory at '0x00000000.' The memory
could not be 'written.' "
When I click either of the options ('OK to terminate' or 'CANCEL to debug')
the message disappears and I can continue in whatever I'm doing. It does not
appear to be affecting any application or process. It just keeps popping up
in a fairly random, but all too often. It's driving me nuts!!
What do I do? Would a system restore solve the problem?

I'm having awful problems with Win XP, SP2:.
First, I'm having errors that read:
svchost.exe - Application error
The instruction at "<memory address here>" referenced memory at "<memory
address here>". The memory could not be "written"
Click OK to terminate the program.
Click on Cancel to debug the program.
This happens after an install/uninstall of a program, at startup, and
possibly other random undocumented times.
ANY HELP?!?!
