If your notebook as the option to boot from a USB device in the BIOS that
might work for your USB CDROM. In all honesty though, it might be quicker to
simply grab another working CD Drive from another notebook.

As far as the viruses on the network go, it sounds like your end users need
some serious training and your network security needs tightened. I know it's
a laborious process but I would go to each machine and make sure the
antivirus software is up to date and scanning as it should. If it's up to
date working correctly you shouldn't be having virus issues on the network.
Make sure the end users know not to trust any attachments they don't
expect-even if it's from a friend, relative, spouse, etc.

I realise English isn't your 1st language, but sorry from the
information supplied I am unable to understand what it is you want .
Are you wanting to clean virus infected machines as well as fix the
Toshiba Notebook?

To fix the Notebook you have to either
install XP from a CD via it's optical drive
from an image on a CD again using an optical drive
from the network via an image on a server

Which method is available only you know I guess ?

If windows is broken on the Notebook you will have to replace the
optical drive to get the OS up again, and unless you keep images of
your machines for quick reinstalls, you will have to do it the
"hard" way.
