physical file moving and 8GB barrier

hello..
I have system with large disk >20GB. on first 1GB i've got installed
win98 with partMagic. After that winnt was installed on next 15GB
partition. Everything works fine but now I try to move systems on new
disk cloning with northon Ghost . And now I get message:
Os Loader V4.01
..Disk I/O error: Status = 00000001

Windows NT could not start because the following file is missing or
corrupt:
\system32\ntoskrnl.exe.
Please re-install a copy of the above file.

I thing that file ntoskrnl.exe was moved over 8GB limit during cloning
and now ntloader can't see this file.
So I put disk to my XP and I can't find way to move ntoskrnl.exe before
8GB limit.
During cloning disk was totaly defragmented.
Has anyone advice how to solve tihs problem ?
How can I find info about file's physical location
