That only works if you are using a newsreader like Outlook Express, Netscape or Thunderbird. You are using MS's web interface and I guess it won't work with that.
If F8 doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you. Are you hitting the F8 right after the beep when rebooting?

I have deleted every item I can find in the registry referring to this prog. except one.
