I have run virus and spyware scans, including the Microsoft Malicious Software Remover Tool and HijackThis. They have all come up clean. I have deleted all screensavers, fonts, games, etc. that I've downloaded to no avail. This seems to happen when I am transferring music to an mp3 player, when I'm downloading something, or when I run a virus scan (though not always). I am the administrator on one computer, I am not connected to a network. I use dial-up for an internet connection.

I have no clue what is going on, everything runs normally otherwise. Please help!

It could be a problem with the power supply.
