problems installing itunes 6

When i install itunes, everything appears to be normal. Quicktime
works properly, but I can't access anything through iTunes. When i try
to open it, nothing happens. I've uninstalled it and quicktime,
reinstalled it, deleted temp files, but I have no idea what is wrong.

Can anyone help me?
