Hello,
This tool is specifically for standalone home computers that
are shared by different users. The target audience for this
tool is average home users who want to set restrictions on
different user accounts on a machine running Winodws XP.
The first link that i gave you can provide more information
about this tool

Anando,
I'm not the OP but I did find those links pretty interesting.
I tried to research it a little to see just what it's about,
but even after I found the "manual", 13 pages I think it was,
there didn't seem to be what I was looking for; all it was is
a "how to" of the features, not what it's actually going to be
doing system-wise. I couldn't even tell if it was for a
single standalone computer or networked systems, although it
seems to be standalones from the wording.
Can you elaborate a little on just what these tools are going
to do? I'm not looking for internal super-techie stuff, just
something for a more-than-a-newbie,
knows-enough-to-be-dangerous, but definitely-no-guru but
everyone thinks he is, type <g>. If that makes any sense!!
Maybe it's all there but I'm learning disabled due to a
concussion a few yeara ago and just couldn't put it together,
if that helps you determine the type of audience I am.
I'd just like to know if it's just an automation of things
like setting the Properties Security Settings, things like
that, I guess. What concerned me was the long list of
instructions for uninstalling it; it'll be pretty hard to
remember to do that stuff if it doesn't walk one thru it!
TIA,
Pop

I am very inexperienced with XP Pro and I was trying to
figure out how to set
user restrictions on my computer because I have other people
in my home who
like to download things that clog my computer up with junk.
I have no idea
how to set up my computer so that the only person that can
download new
things into my computer is the administrator (which is me.).
