Re: E-mail causes reboot

Hi
I just received an e-mail from Admin (I know nobody with this name or
title) which is behaving rather strangely.
Windows OneCare reported that this might contain a virus and asked to
be permitted to clean it which I gave.
Immediately afterwards, on highlighting the mail (i.e. without opening
attachements of which there were none) the screen went black and the
machine proceeded to reboot. From what I can see, no further damage was
inflicted.
I tried it one more time and got the same result.
This effectively means I cannot delete this mail as it will turn the
screen off before I get a chance to hit delete.
What is this and what can I do?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
Paul

View/Layout/uncheck Preview Pane. Now try it.

If you want you can also right click on the bar/customize and add an icon to toggle the preview pane on and off.
