As pointed out in the article, call them and ask for it. No charge as long as thats all you ask for.

Hello !
I am administrator for a small windows exchange server business environment with one server and around 8 client machines. To perform backup of the client machines I am using ntbackup.exe and want to administer it through task scheduler.
I have defined the task scheduler correctly (I belive) and want to run it as the domene administrator from the server without the need to log on the different client computers. The problem is that the task sceduler will not start.
I have tried nearly everything (it work just fine if I logg on the client machine first. but i want the task sheduler to run without the need to log in first - the machine is of course on when i try to run the task scheduler).
In the task sceduler logfile it typically says:
"14-days-backup.job" (ntbackup.exe)
Finished 28.02.2006 17:04:36
Result: The task completed with an exit code of (1f).
And nothing has happened.
As I understand the problem lies with an error concerning user rights.
I have been into the group policy and added the domain administrator user into the
"User Right Assignment / Access this computer from the network"
It doesnt help.
I have read article Microsoft article 884573;
“0x80070005: Access is denied" error message when you create a scheduled task in Windows XP Service Pack 2
Here I think my problem lies. This is a bug in win-xp SP2 and a hotfix is required.
If anyone in Microsoft support read this - could you send me the required hotfix as described in article 884573 ?
Thanks in advance
