Hi,
Click start/run, type:
%windows%\windowsupdate.log
then click ok to open the log in notepad. Scroll to the bottom, then look
for error codes (formatted as 0x00000000) related to the most recent
attempt. Post back here with this information, or better yet to:

I am using Automatic Updates on my computer. I select the icon and lists
updates to install. I select either Express Install or Custom Install and
the process starts. The dialog box says it is installing then a message
comes up, Install Failed. There is no error code or anything else. I
have
been using this for a while and never had this issue before.
