Most Speakers made for computers should work on any computer.
I would check my sound settings under Control Panel/Sounds&Audio devices.
I am assuming that the sound drivers are installed and you have the speakers
plugged into the right ports on the back of the unit??

Hi:
My brand new computer, ' hp pavillion a1310n' does NOT come with
speaker.
I tested whether my old spekaer which came with other hp computer
works, however there is NO sound. Obviously, this speaker is imcompatible
to the brand new hp computer.
Wonder what form of speaker do I need to purchase in order to listen
very cordial/ordinary music CDs I have?
Thanks for your help in advance.
.
