Re: Hard disk space lost mysteriously

Does your pagefile.sys increase in size?

How much free space and how large is your hard disk? Is the
disk partitioned?

Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot Gerry. That's a nice post, albeit it didnt really concern
my question...
Im using 'Totol Commander' to check my file sizes and its configured to
see all hidden and system files. My system restore is disabled the
minute after I finished installing windows.
I dont use Norton utilities.
Its not internet temp files either...
The free HD space is getting shorter by the second, the minute XP loads
and even after I close all proccesses. The lost space is magically
returned after a restart.
