Version is Windows XP Professional -

MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP PROFESIONAL – VER 5.1 –BUILD 2600.XPSP_SP2_GDR.050301-1519 : SERVICE PACK 2

How do you get the ms update site to reflect download history correctly - no problems with all of the other downloads

Thanks much for any help !

Sounds like it failed to install from MU. Then you downloaded it and installed it manually, which resulted in the entry in Add/Remove programs. This will not, however, update the history list from MU. That only covers updates installed from there. Since it shows in Add/Remove programs, and I am assuming is not offered as an update from MU anymore, don't worry about it - it's installed.
