Sure you will be able to buy Windows Vista and get WD, but WD will still be available as a stand alone product for free.
Time will tell. Personally, I think MS is getting into the security business and it won't be free, at least it won't be after MS runs all the AdAwares and Spybot Search and Destroys out of business.
