I am trying to type Japanese Kanji characters in English Windows XP
Pro with US Input Parameters/keyboard. I have enabled the East Asian
Options under Regional settings and can thus display asian characters
from Japanese websites. But for the life of me I cannot select any of
numerous Japanese fonts I have installed and type in Word/Excel/etc.

Really all I'm after are the numeral characters.


Here are the number from 0 to 10 (Chinese, but since you say Kanji, they are
the same):
