Are you virus free?

Ctrl + Alt + Delete isn't gonna work until you get rid of the viruses.

Update your antivirus software and run a full system scan.

Do the same for whatever anti-spyware applications that you have.

And have made the copies which seem to work when I click on them. I use
need to get the task manager to open when I use Ctrl Alt Delete. Not
sure how to do that yet.

To start Task Manager:

Ctrl + Alt + Delete
or
Ctrl + Shift + Esc
or
Right click the Taskbar | Task Manager
or
Start | Run | Type: taskmgr | Click OK

Ctrl + Alt + Delete opens the Windows Security window if the Welcome
screen
is turned off.
