Old Goat,
You'll need an application such as 'IE New Window Maximizer' (free).
http://www.jiisoft.com/iemaximizer/download.asp
The best you can do without this is to open IE, hold down your mouse button
and drag the corners of IE to it's furthest point at all 4 corners. Then
close IE. This wasn't acceptable for me and have been using 'IE New Window
Maximizer' for over a year without any problems. I recommend it.
Tip:
Use my above step 'hold down your mouse button and drag the corners of IE to
it's furthest point at all 4 corners' after installing. If the IE windows
aren't expanded in this way I notice an annoying flicker each time an IE
window is opened & expanded by the app.

Can you automatically maximize all windows when they first come on your
monitor screen, if so how do you set it to do so?
