hi, wonder if anybody could help. I reformatted my hard drive, reinstalled
windows HE, but then when i right-click My Computer, it shows that my CPU
is
at half speed of what if should be. I resetted my BIOS by moving the BIOS'
jumper on the motherboard, loaded the default BIOS setting at the CMOS
setup
page, reformatted my hard drive again, reinstalled windows again, but the
problem of the CPU speed is still there. Please help me! Thank to anybody
in
advance.
Does the BIOS report the correct CPU speed?
Sometimes you need to manually set the speed in the BIOS.
Does your PC seem to run the same or slower, as though it were running half
speed.
