Re: Security Center Settings

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Security Center applet.
If your AV is up and running and you know of no issues with it, then you can disable the warning. Be warned though, that if you disable the warning and your AV does have an issue you will not be notified.

On the Left side of SC click the link "Change the way SC alerts me".

Does anyone know the name / location of the file that holds the WIN XP security Center settings? My security center keep resetting to "status of your anti-virus program is unknown".
Thanks,
